Thanks to the glory of word of mouth after I had designed the Bicester Fort Warriors tee,   I was contacted by Cherwell Financial Services Ltd, a fledgling financial company who needed a company logo, as well as letterhead and footers, compliment slips and business cards.  They wanted their logo to be professional and appropriate for the financial sector.  After sketching a number of ideas, I ended up combining elements of two design concepts into the Logo you see here.

One of the things that the company owners loved was the way the logo tells a story.  The bridge represents the company transitioning its customers from their old financial situations to a better financial future.  The two shades of green on either side of the river represent the "grass being greener" for their customers financial future.

Since this project, I have completed a number of additional jobs for CFS ltd, most recently business cards for their newest employee, which gave me experience working with Chartered Standard Mark, which has very specific guidelines on the size and representation of the CII logo.
