ILLUSTRATEDFORFILTH is my first foray into E-commerce; a shop I created initially for my more artistic designs which were aimed at the LGBT community.

The company logo was designed to incorporate both the Gay Pride rainbow flag and resemble the free form style of abstract paintings.  The name illustratedforfilth comes from a play on words.  When a drag queen has painted her face really well, she is considered "painted for filth", meaning no matter how filthy she gets her makeup will still look flawless. I wanted this mantra to be the inspiration for my designs here: flawless and long lasting.

ILLUSTRATEDFORFILTH is currently under redevelopment.  I have begun the process of limiting the LGBT designs to their own section to allow for more mainstream designs comprising some of my other interests such as pop culture, weighlifting, comic parodies, and basically everything that does not fit into the LGBT category.  Hopefully this will then broaden the target market of my shop and increase sales.  I have also begun working on my social media interactions with a view to increasing site traffic, and further to this, making use of the new products made available for my designs such as wall art, phone cases and home decor.
